Dogs

Dogs are in individual exercise runs where, weather permitting, they spend most of the day. For safety reasons the dogs are not taken outside the security of the kennel grounds. We also have grass paddocks fully fenced where members of staff can often be seen playing with the dogs in our care.

Larger dogs are kept separate from the smaller ones so that the smaller dogs feel less intimidated.

What do we feed?

Dogs are mainly fed on a quality complete chicken and rice based food which has a taste of meat or tuna added to encourage the finicky eater. We also have a range of pedigree foods in complete premium formula and a full range of tins. If your dog is on a special veterinary diet we cannot supply this but if you provide it with your dog we will certainly feed it.

Special needs may be catered for as long as special foods or medication is provided by the owners.

Elderly and infirm dogs are our speciality and they will be treated with plenty of TLC. There is always a vet on call should anything be needed. If any dog is on medication make sure enough is brought with the dog so that the staff can continue with it throughout their stay. Unfortunately we cannot accept animals that need to be injected even if this is just for diabetes.

Dog Walking

Should you desire, clients may make independent arrangements with a dog walking service.
